View Full Version : Electrical Re-grounding the Center Console bracket

I want to provide a better ground connection for the center console. If I run a new ground cable from the console bracket ground connection, where is the best place to run it to? (I'm guessing the fuse box area, but I can't see any easily accessible grounding points?
FWIW, I think Bill ran his all the way to the main grounding point at the Bulkhead...
I assume you've seen his ground buss schematic?

I've seen the schematic (just looked at it). I just don't know where the bulkhead bolt is?

You could use the frame ground like I did for the inertia switch. The frame ground is pretty good for most everything.

Behind the AC Duct, IIRC.

I used a lug under the shifter gimbal hold down screw.

Okay, I went with running a cable to the bulkhead bolt. I had the center channel clear so it was an easy run. Thanks guys.
