The title says it all. I was just driving my car and noticed the driver side headlight is not working. It was working last week. When I flip on the high beams, every light works.

What gives? Is this a sign that the sealed beam needs to be replaced? I'm not sure if they are dual filaments or not, but perhaps this is why the light works when the high beams are on?

Yes, you most likely have a dim out. The outer lights are dual, inner are high only.

Yep - you have a bulb out. Smae thing happened to me in 2010 or so.

The Outer bulbs are HI/LO dual elements. Your LO beam filament is burnt out.
