Windshield wipers not working? Here are some thoughts:
- Check that the fuse is good ... that was obvious

That said:

The windshield control module is located above the steering wheel column. Check workshop manual page M:09:03 for more details
There are two connectors that go into it

Unplug the connectors from the module and plug them into each other.
Operate the windshield wipers.

If they now work there are two things (at least) to check

Make sure the module is grounded. One of the two mounting bolts is the module ground point.
The module itself may have failed.

If the wipers do not operate,

Verify that 12Vdc is present at the plug. It is the green wire (I'm not sure if it was the male or female plug and I'm not going back under there!)
It could be the motor. For your sake I hope not! Double and triple check before assuming the motor need removal

If the module has failed, you can operate the windshield wipers without the module. The only function lost is the intermittent swipe. The once only swipe, the slow swipe and fast swipe still work.

Warning: If you remove the connector from the chime/alarm module, make sure you do not loose the small plastic insert. Without it the connector will not secure to the module. I found mine after I put most stuff back together.
