We were in Chicago last Thursday and I scheduled some time to pick a windshield and some other parts from DMC-MIDWEST. If you're ever considering picking one of these up, here are the dimensions of the box it comes in. BIG BOX.

Length 6 Feet
Width 6.5 inches
Depth 37.5 inches

It fit perfectly in the back of the truck and fortunately it made the drive home from Chicago to Nashville in one piece.

Lots of Deloreans at the shop. For those of you going this weekend, enjoy it. The only issue I had, was traffic. It was horrible!!!!!!

Ahh memories.

Did you splurge for the UV/IR windshield?

I visited DMC mid west last year, it was great to see that. I'll be in Chicago in 2 weeks, so unfortunately too late :sad30:


I had my windshield replaced a few years ago. Welmoed picked it up fromDMC EU with his SUV without the box, just the windshield. It was the last original prestine windshield Ed had laying around. Near Antwerp we put the windshield in my car with is a midsize car with the rear seats folded down. It fit right inthere and I'm glad I got it home in one piece too.

I plan to install the windshield with a friend that installed one on his Delorean.

Always appreciate your hospitality Dave.
I remember last time it looks closer from downtown than it really is. I will be in Elk Grove on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Not sure If I have enough time but if I do it will be on Tuesday afternoon. I'll let you know, but thanks already.
