CO adjustment for awkward idling issue

Hello all, I recently spoke to the folks out at DMC Houston about a issue that I've had with my Delorean, basically the vehicle rpm's fluctuate from high to low for about five minutes and then stabilize, in which I can hear the engine surging as well. I was told by DMC Houston that its not normal that it does it for so long, the gentlemen out there said that it should do that for at most 2 minutes. He also by the way mentioned that it isn't a vacuum leak as that issue typically results in just a high idle. He mentioned that the first step to undergo and see if it helps the situation is to adjust the CO adjustment which apparently controls Air to Fuel ratio by using an allen wrench and rotating about 2 degrees (didn't mention whether to rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise) . My question to you guys is where exactly is that located and is it difficult to get to?

With all due respect to the "Gentleman at DMCH", I would not go twisting that adjustment first. There are a lot of other things that can cause the idle to bad. My first guess would be to check the Control Pressure Regulator because it is a major controller of the idle till the motor warms up.

ALL other settings should be checked first -- Then check/adjust the CO.
