Just started restoring my Delorean. 17 years of being parked hasn't been kind to it.
It appears several generations of mice built nests inside the compartment at the front of the trunk, where the jack is stored. Cleaned up as much as I could reach and then I got this great idea to hose out the rest. After pumping in several gallons of water I realized that nothing was coming out the bottom.
After investigating, I found a clogged drainage hole in the box covering the windshield washer bottle. Clearing this out allowed the drivers side to drain. However I can hear water sloshing around on the passenger side and can't find any way to drain it.
Does anyone know if there is a drain in the front drivers side shell? Or do I just get my wetvac and suck out the water?
