new license plate

So 747 has NOT DOC as its plate now but now its time for a new plate.
I ordered STARK 81. Some people will get it and I always thought those were cool plates in the Iron Man movies. Or it could have been BC they were on sweet rides.
I'll post pics when I get them on.

I have been thinking about getting the 'Not Doc' myself. But in Texas the charge for the 'non-ugly' personlized plate starts at $200 a year. I'm thinking, I should fix / restore something on Della before I spend that kinda of cash on a vanity plate. Don't get me wrong.. I want it bad... just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I was just geting ready to transfer my 'NO TIME' plates to my DeLorean this weekend. It was a case of having the right plates before I had the right car...

Or DMC747. Unsure about Cali, but in MN you cannot get a vanity plate with 3 numbers and 3 letters since that is our standard issue. If I had 747 I'd have to get a plate reading DMC0747. Not quite as good of a ring.

What other plates do people have? We're limited in MA to 6 characters. Unfortunately, OUTATM is taken and any other combination of OUTATIME makes even less sense. BK2FTR won't fly in MA, but BKNTIM works. Other suggestions?

I was just thinking about this the other day as my new to me DeLorean will be in my garage in about a week or less. It does have a Corvette C350 conversion on it. Maybe "88in7" (88 mph in 7 seconds), or something else BTTF related, or even DelCor, or DEVETTE..or maybe TYMBNDER

I would try OTATYM or BKNTYM... The "Y" makes the right sound in TYM (time). An "I" in TIM reads as Tim.

Did they just start having personalised plates in Belgium in the last year? Do you see that many of them? What do they cost? I have collected license plates for over 40 years here in the US and I like to see whats going on in other parts of the world. Yours is a great looking plate!!!

Well, personalised plates have been around for some time in Belgium but there were always some restriction. First you had to have 3 letter and 3 numbers (ABC-123). After that they decide that a personalised had to have a 9 in front of the letters and numbers like 9-ABC-123.

Only last year they suddenly announced that (almost) everything was possible up to 8 characters. The first day you could register your personalised number plate there were long queues at the registry offices. Everybody wanted to have a 1 or 2 character number plate.

The price is 1000 euro and at the moment it is not possible to sell or trade personalised number plates. When they first introduced the new style personalised number plate they were quite rare. Nowadays you see them more and more.
