So I recently got new personalized plates for my Delorean. When I bought the car the original owner had BTFUTUR. I could have transferred the plates, but it was going to be a big hassle so I went ahead and got new ones. After spending time at the DMC having them try a billion different Back to the Future variants (like B2FUTUR, BK2FUTR, etc) that were all taken I asked if OUTATIM was available (in GA you can only have 7 letters so I couldn't do OUTATIME). Well sure enough no one had it. Funny that every other Back to the Future related plate was taken, but the one that you figure would be the first to go wasn't. Anyway, here is a picture of the plate freshly installed on the car:

Looks Great!

Alabama's the same way on the 2 Standard plates, Only 7 characters.
Going to a Specialty plate, (Like the one I have), some only allow up to 5 Characters.

If you don't me asking, What does Georgia charge Extra for a vanity plate per year?
In Alabama it's an extra $50 on top of your normal registration amount.

It was $35 for them to make it, and $35 a year extra for the vanity plate.

My neighbor in Alabama was called Tim and he bought his wife a small SUV as a birthday present. The icing on the cake was the personalized plate that read LOVETIM.

He had a small two seater himself so he would borrow the SUV when he and his buddy went golfing. He never could work out the strange looks he got pulling up at the golf club .........

Yeah that's exactly what I thought. Should have gone with OUTATYM or OUTATME if they were available.

It's all subjective, no matter what letter you drop its not "OUTATIME". For for me "OUTATIM" was the best choice, and closest to the plate in the movie. Everyone who has seen the plate at car shows gets it right away.
