While working in the valley I have discovered that the vacuum hose leading to the vacuum advance unit is broken. I am having trouble finding the source of this hose and it's part number. It it appears that there is a metal collar inside of the hose. Is this something that I can repair or will I have to replace it? I also think the advance unit probably needs to be replaced. It appears to only be a two bolt process, or is there more involved?

THANKS!

Parts store hose, nothing special. no metal collar, either the end broke off or someone was messing with it. The chamber looks whole.
Take the distributor cap back off so you can see the internal advance plate. Connect a hand pump vacuum tester to the chamber and pump it - if the advance moves it's good.
The chamber is held on by two small screws that are often frozen, and a connection inside that can be a bit tricky.

I know we talked about it during your visit, now that I am seeing what it's attached to, it makes more sense. BTW Thanks again for all of your help, I am powering through those first two boxes of parts, I'll be ordering the third box on Monday!
