Has anybody tried cleaning and then redyeing the DeLorean carpet? If so, any words of wisdom to share? Were you pleased with the results? I appreciate any responses before I try this. Thanks.

Cleaning is no big deal. You can remove the carpets to clean them. Redying is not going to work. It makes it feel stiff, like touching steel wool.

It depends how you redye the carpet. Spray-on dye makes the fibers very stiff, but Bill Robertson soaked his in a RIT dye bath for a week and they came out looking great.

Hey that grey on black is absolutely terrific! I usually see the opposite match (black interiors on grey carpet) but that's awesome! Gotta get other photos of that car!

Dont redye with a spray can. I bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse with an already dyed carpet and re-used the can dye, to see a couple days later that where you put your feet, the color goes away.
