I have noticed that my clock in D runs a few min faster than my other clocks. About three weeks ago, I readjusted both of my d and car stereo clocks. Now d is off by 6 minutes compared to my iphone and car stereo.

Just wondering if others have experienced this also.

Yep, I did. Not to say this is your situation, but that was one of the "beginning of the end" moments I had before my clock stayed constantly on 12:00. Many moons ago, I remember reading about a screw on the body of the clock that one could turn to adjust the speed of which the clock kept time. Don't know if someone here may have those instructions still.... ?

Ours has always been like that. Gains a few minutes per month. Never tried to adjust it. When it annoys us enough we re-set the time, sometimes a few minutes ahead just to compensate....

I think it's a pretty common issue, my mum's car (Lancia Y) does just the same.

My clock gains about 1 1/2 minutes per week. I just reset it every month or so.

There is an adjustment "trimmer" capacitor that can make minor changes to the crystal frequency. I would suggest you try a 1/4 turn after you know how fast it is (how many seconds gain or lost in 7 days) Then do that test again. If you had an accurate frequency meter you could probably adjust it once. But that meter would need to be a lab quality instrument. Look for a cylinder with a screw driver slot in it on the circuit board.

There is an obvious time travel joke in here :drummer:

I'm glad that I am not the only one.
