Wetness and mold on carpet

Noticed wetness and mold on carpet below the clutch pedal it has did
colored the carpet slightly.
No leak was found in fact the car does not leak brake or clutch fluild.
And has been garage kept the whole time.
Noticed it a few months back in Fl. Cleaned it and forgot about it
The noticed it came back. I moved to N.C
The car has only been driven on bright sunny days so its not rain.
Also did notice a light layer of spotty white mold on the truck carpet.
I have dried the carpet and cleaned it as well as taken the whole
trunk apart and found nothing.
Any ideas what may be causing this
FYI the car does not leak nor has been washed in the last year???
I can't firgure this one out?

That's what I first thought but it happened in Fl. As well as Asheville

If it is not rainwater or carwash water and if it IS water (not clutch/brake fluid or coolant) then the most likely remaining source is the A/C evaporator.

As a start just drive the car on a hot, humid day with the A/C on. With the engine and A/C still on just park the car and look underneath. You should see water dripping onto the pavement from somewhere in the front of the passenger. Otherwise the evap's water is going someplace else...inside the car.

In case it's evaporator water or even coolant I've no idea how it would get to the driver footwell - the evaporator and heater plumbing isn't on that side....

Check the level of the clutch and the brake fluid. You may not think it is leaking but if the level goes down it is coming out somewhere! Mold is tough. If you just clean it off superficially it will grow back. You must use something that will kill it once and for all. Mild bleach or mildewcide. Scrub it in well and rinse. Leave the carpet out in the sun to dry thoroughly. Typically water doesn't leak much into the driver's side footwell but brake fluid is very common! Pull the carpet and dry the underpadding too. You might find a puddle of brake fluid.

Hey... I was poking around in my car just now looking at my steering column bushing and I had an idea on where your moisture might be coming from...

The windshield washer fluid line (labelled 11 and 12 in the diagram) goes right through the upper portion of the drivers footwell (at least it does on my car). Maybe something is leaking out of it under there? This #12 is some sort of connector and maybe it could be simple like it isn't snugged in all the way? Might be worth checking...
