Hi Gang. I FINALLY got my door lock actuators working today after years or problems! It turned out to be a bad solder joint on the underside of the door lock module! Now I want to put in remote lock/unlock capabilities. I just ordered a Viper 211HV system that should arrive Friday. Instructions here: http://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/ig/viper/N412V_01-05.pdf

Before Friday, I want to have a mental picture of where all of the wires connect to. I downloaded the above manual and have the following figured out so far, I think. Can anyone help with where the rest of the wires connect to? In particular, a breakdown of what each wire goes to from the door lock module would be helpful. This thread might be helpful to others who want remote locking capabilities as well.

H1/1 RED (+) 12V Constant Power Input [Door Lock Circuit Breaker]
H1/2 BLUE (-) 200mA Second Unlock Output
H1/3 BLACK/WHITE-1 Input of Dome Light Supervision Relay #87 [12V]
H1/4 BLACK/WHITE Output of Dome Light Supervision Relay #30 [Purple/White wires in dome light delay relay socket]
H1/5 GREEN/BLACK Lock #30 Common Input [Red/Grey Wire Coming Out Of Door Lock Module?]
H1/6 WHITE/BLACK Lock #87 Normally Closed
H1/7 VIOLET/BLACK Lock #87 Normally Open (Input) [Ground???]
H1/8 BLUE/BLACK Unlock #30 Common (Output) [Red/Pink Wire Coming Out Of Door Lock Module?]
H1/9 VIOLET Unlock #87 Normally Open (Input) [Ground???]
H1/10 WHITE (+/-) Parking Light Flash Output [Red/Green Wire Under Fuse Box]
H1/11 BLACK Chassis Ground Input [GROUND]
H1/12 (-) Horn Honk Output [I already have a horn relay in use for aftermarket horns, so this should be straightforward]
H1/13 LT. GREEN/BLACK Factory Alarm Disable [NOT USED]
H1/14 WHITE/BLUE (-) 200 mA Channel 3 Validity Output [NOT USED]
H1/15 YELLOW (+) Switched Ignition Input (Accessory) [Auxilary Relay in compartment]
H1/16 ORANGE (-) 500 mA Ground When Armed Input [NOT USED]
H1/17 BROWN/BLACK Unlock #87A Normally Closed
H1/18 RED/WHITE (-) Output of Channel 2 [NOT USED]

Thanks in advance to whoever can figure out the rest!

I think I have more figured out:

H1/1 RED (+) 12V Constant Power Input [Door Lock Circuit Breaker]
H1/2 BLUE (-) 200mA Second Unlock Output [NOT USED]
H1/3 BLACK/WHITE-1 Input of Dome Light Supervision Relay #87 [12V]
H1/4 BLACK/WHITE Output of Dome Light Supervision Relay #30 [Purple/White wires in dome light delay relay socket]
H1/5 GREEN/BLACK Lock #30 Common Input [Red/Grey Wire Coming Out Of Door Lock Module?]
H1/6 WHITE/BLACK Lock #87 Normally Closed [NOT USED]
H1/7 VIOLET/BLACK Lock #87 Normally Open (Input) [Ground]
H1/8 BLUE/BLACK Unlock #30 Common (Output) [Red/Pink Wire Coming Out Of Door Lock Module?]
H1/9 VIOLET Unlock #87 Normally Open (Input) [Ground]
H1/16 ORANGE (-) 500 mA Ground When Armed Input [NOT USED]
H1/17 BROWN/BLACK Unlock #87A Normally Closed [NOT USED]
H1/18 RED/WHITE (-) Output of Channel 2 [NOT USED]

If anyone sees any glaring errors, let me know. If not, I will report back once I attempt to wire it as above. I am unsure if the domelight feature will work with LEDs. We'll find out.

I ended up getting the Viper 211HV kit installed today. Here are the wires that I ended up using in the install, please use at your own risk if you attempt this. I already had Toby's door lock actuator kit, and was able to wire the Viper "brain" so that the original failure-prone door lock module relays are bypassed since the Viper brain has on board relays. I'm very happy with this kit.

REVISED 8/30/13:

H1/1 RED (+) 12V Constant Power Input [Door Lock Circuit Breaker]
H1/2 BLUE (-) 200mA Second Unlock Output [NOT USED]
H1/3 BLACK/WHITE-1 Input of Dome Light Supervision Relay #87 [Ground]
H1/4 BLACK/WHITE Output of Dome Light Supervision Relay #30 [Door Plunger Switch Wire]
H1/5 GREEN/BLACK Lock #30 Common Output [Red/Grey Wire Coming Out Of Door Lock Module]
H1/6 WHITE/BLACK Lock #87 Normally Closed [NOT USED]
H1/7 VIOLET/BLACK Lock #87 Normally Open (Input) [12V]
H1/8 BLUE/BLACK Unlock #30 Common (Output) [Red/Pink Wire Coming Out Of Door Lock Module]
H1/9 VIOLET Unlock #87 Normally Open (Input) [12V]
H1/10 WHITE (+/-) Parking Light Flash Output [Red/Green Wire Under Fuse Box]
H1/11 BLACK Chassis Ground Input [GROUND]
H1/12 (-) Horn Honk Output [Relay Needs To Be Used]
H1/13 LT. GREEN/BLACK Factory Alarm Disable [NOT USED]
H1/14 WHITE/BLUE (-) 200 mA Channel 3 Validity Output [NOT USED]
H1/15 YELLOW (+) Switched Ignition Input (Accessory) [White wire attached to Auxillary Relay in compartment]
H1/16 ORANGE (-) 500 mA Ground When Armed Input [NOT USED]
H1/17 BROWN/BLACK Unlock #87A Normally Closed [NOT USED]
H1/18 RED/WHITE (-) Output of Channel 2 [NOT USED]

Does anyone have a simple wiring diagram for the locking system in the DeLorean? From module to solenoid?

Never mind- found it! http://dmctalk.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=9853&d=1306264512

Just installed this unit, very nice for the price.

I also installed a dedicated relay for the marker lights and a directed 545T to automatically control the headlights & marker lights. Really modernizes the car.

Also with this unit you do not need the expensive door lock module from DMC. Just wire the door lock actuators directly into the 211hv.

Good to know as I need to do something for my doors. If you wire directly I assume you lose the auto lock change when locking/unlocking a door on the inside?

this is true, but something I that didnt bother me. You can use a 5 wire actuator and retain this functionality though.

the only reason i see someone buying the dmc lock control unit is that they are looking for a very easy drop in replacement with no wiring needed. Otherwise save your money, $250 is just ridiculous for what it does. I bought the actuators and keyless entry (as well as some wires, connectors, and a new circuit breaker) for about half that!
