Someone stole my spare wheel/tire from my back yard, as well as my car jack, old radiator, 2 old batteries, and some pieces of metal. I had a few more stuff around, but that's all they took. Looks like they were looking for scraps and other stuff.

How much does a spare wheel go for?? I checked DMCH but no price on them, does that mean they are out of stock?

I made a HUGE mistake last year and put one on ebay with no reserve, it sold for $26.00. The one on ebay now has a buy-it-now price of $900.00 :banghead:

No one is going to pay $900 for a dried out 32 year old spare tire. $26 was probably a reasonable price.

Agree but for $26.00, it would have been best just to keep it as a spare spare. The one on ebay now already has a $100 bid.

Then again, I would have said the same thing about $780 for a pair of Toby Tabs.

I suspect that it was sold as scrap aluminum for $10. The thief probably has no idea what it is other than an aluminum wheel.
