The Museum is pleased to offer this extremely rare set of Toby TABs (Trailing Arm Bolts) in new, unused condition. Comes with nuts, washers and instructions. These bolts are made from a nickel-based alloy called Inconel 718 which is corrosion-proof and very resistant to stress cracking. This material is used to make virtually all bolts used to attached the engines on modern jet airplanes. They were developed by Toby Peterson (now owner of DeLorean Motor Company Northwest) as a fix for stock trailing arm bolts that were prone to fail under stress. These were made in very limited quantities in the early-mid 2000's and are no longer available. If you own a DeLorean, these are the trailing arm bolts (and peace of mind) you want!

A few weeks ago a set of these sold for $787 on Ebay (search on item #271260761431). The Museum policy is to offer all items with an opening bid of 99 cents and no reserve. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an improved, no longer available, part for your DeLorean at a very attractive price while supporting the non-profit DeLorean Museum, Inc.

The DeLorean Museum occasionally offers items for sale that have been donated if they are not directly related to the history of John DeLorean or the original DeLorean Motor Company. Furthermore, in instances where the Museum has more than one of a particular item - whether or not it is directly related to the history of John DeLorean or the original DeLorean Motor Company, the lesser quality item may also be offered for sale in order that interested persons from the DeLorean community may assist the DeLorean Museum while adding items to their personal collection. All donors are made aware of this policy at the time of their donation.

Proceeds from all product sales (Ebay or otherwise) are used for the acquisition of additional items for the collection, materials and supplies to protect existing items, and to procure items (shirts, etc) for sale to further raise funds.
