I am assuming that I have a manifold exhaust gasket leak because when I start up the car I hear the typical "tick tick tick tick" noise. As it warms up it lessens. The PO put Barrs Leaks in the coolant and it worked for a while but now it it time to replace them. Anyone have any step by step instructions or "tips" on what to do, not to do or things to watch out for? I believe they are all separate so setting the gaskets in place and reinstalling the manifold can be tricky.

Thanks

Morning Jay. You are talking about two different problems as the cooling system is separate from the exhaust unless a stud was drilled out into the coolant jacket.

Here is a copy of our newsletter for a while back with instruction on the process and parts required depending on the direction you are going.
