I can understand a Kit car for a Bugatti or Porsche spyder, but this?

The rear is particularly bad, the front not so much.

But as you say, why bother? Can you not get a real one for about the same amount of money?

Weren't the DeLoreans made at the same plant? I heard thats why they have gullwings, cause the Bricklin plant wasn't set up to produce standard doors.

As I understand it, you can get fibreglass replacement panels for Bricklins because the acrylic ones are prone to warp or cracking - I wonder if that's what he's used there, so it's less a 'kit' car and more a case of easily available panels mounted to the fiero?
