1990 volvo B280F engine

I am a Volvo guy trying to find homes for parts that might fit Deloreans.

I am not really clear what parts interchange, so feel free to enlighten me.

I am parting a 1990 volvo 780 Bertone with a V6 B280f engine.

by 1990 volvo had gone to EFi, so I dont how much use that will be.

the engine has lots of miles, tho I dont know how many , it's well over 100K.

I drove it up onto the trailer and around the yard a bit, so it runs, but I didn't take it out on the road.


I'd like to get $250 for the engine, but I will entertain offers.

I will also pull it apart and sell the pieces, if the engine doesn't sell whole in a reasonable amount of time.

Price does NOT include shipping from 12077 near Albany , NY

I'd be happy to help you load it if you come here, and frankly shipping something this big is a challenge, so I strongly encourage pick up, or perhaps I could meet you somewhere in the Northeast.

It seems that each fall I am blessed with yet another V6.

This time it's an 1987 B280F in a Volvo 780 Bertone.

engine turns over , but the previous owner has lost enough of the fuel system that I cant start it.

odometer of the car says 168K and that looks about right for the condition of the car.

I'd like to get $250 for the engine, but I will entertain offers.

I will also pull it apart and sell the pieces, if the engine doesn't sell whole in a reasonable amount of time.

Wow, I think I bought an engine and manuals off ebay from you back in '05 for my D, back when I was living in NY - my dad and I met you to pick it up. It is running strong!

Just as an fyi to those reading- there are some Volvo manuals scanned in our resource area. However, when I bought the manuals from you, there are more than what we have scanned I believe.
