I have a question concerning the glassfibre underbody.
I have an underbody where some of the metal shims have rusted/corroded beyond recognition.
I'm talking about a specific area. This is where the bolts attach to the frame through the center console, and where the seat rails attach at the bottom. It's hard to see what was originally there.
My question: Did DMC "bake" in metal shims in the glassfibre in addition to the shims shown in the parts manual that go on either side?
If so, how do you go about replacing them?
Best wishes
