As opposed to the subpar article by Bornrich I posted here a few days ago here is a very nice and fully accurate DeLorean write-up by - and about - a Northern Calif. owner named Tony Graham. It was on the San Francisco Chronicle's website last May:

Our early-VIN D exhibited exactly the same first-time fuel fill-up problem that Tony's earlier-VIN car did. Next time we have our D up north in Mendocino I hope to be able to meet up with him at his pub and swap stories.
