My listings show several episodes airing on the 22nd, and also the 21st, 20th, 19th. None of the descriptions are helpful in determining which one features the DeLorean.
Maybe I'll just record them all.

The full episodes are also available for online viewing here: http://www.cnbc.com/live-tv/show/The%20Car%20Chasers

Again, none of the descriptions mention the DeLorean, but I'm guessing it's "Fast and Furious Profits."

Ok, so it wasn't on tonight. The way it was promoted on FB it looked like it was going to be on tonight.

Here is the promo that features the Delorean in the clip.

The show hasn't released the episode list so I am not sure when it will be on.

Interesting, in the clip the seller says he wants $25k for it. So either he is asking to much or the car is in excellent shape. It will be interesting to see what they do it to it if it really is a 25k car. Typically in those type of shows they buy the "farm fresh" cars and restore them. In the Wheeler Dealers episode they bought one around 18k and fixed/restored everything and sold it in the UK for over 30k.

If he has honestly been looking for a DeLorean to flip for 17 years, then he either wasn't trying very hard in the past or he's quite inept...

All so-called 'reality' shows lie to their viewers - it's very demeaning, which is why I tend to avoid them like the plague with few exceptions (Wheeler Dealers is the best of the breed IMHO because I never feel like I'm being patronized by a bunch of inaccurate information or scripted/staged un-neccessary drama). Then again, a 'unicorn' image for our cars can only help to increase the value, as opposed to the scathing reviews/offers as seen on other 'reality' shows (ie Pawn Stars, Hardcore Pawn, etc).

I'll watch just to see how they approach resolving the car's fuel delivery problems...

Thanks, got it set to record. Looks like the episode a week later might be related too, as it's called "Bucks Capacitor."

They packed every conceivable BTTF joke into that 30 sec teaser. Painful, but it looks like fun.

This episode is funny, the seller says the car is great because it's all original and been in storage for 20 years.:bash:

There's nothing bad about originality. Actually, the car on the show isn't as original as my car. I still have the stock/OEM door struts, engine belts, Ducey alternator, plastic header bottle, relays, Goodyear NCTs, Bougicord plug wires, radiator with plastic side tanks, engine fuel lines and crush washers, coolant hoses, plastic clutch hose, etc.

And everyone that has seen my car has told me that it's one of the nicest examples that they've ever seen.

Personally, I'd much rather have an unmolested original car vs one that has been hacked by a PO that didn't fully know what they were doing. Just MHO anyway.

And yes, I regularly take my car on 300 mile trips and a few 1,200 mile trips without worry.

I just saw the episode. Actually not what I was expecting. Only positives, although plenty of the to-be-expected BTTF references, but nothing bad at all. They made it seem rarer than it is and really made a big deal about how special and sought-after the car is. They also mentioned that it drove really well. The car sold for $26,500 (he paid $21,000) so no low-ball "these cars aren't actually very good" stuff going on.
I really have confidence that in the next ten years our cars will continue to prove they are decent investments (as far as cars go) and start to show some bigger money (Nice/average car $30k+). We'll see!
