I'm looking for the oil pump chain, timing changes and tensioners for the engine.

Will the 1992 3.0 Eagle ones work?

The oil pump chain is
Links: 44; Pitch: 3/8 in.; Rollers: Single

CLOYES Part # 94004

The timing chains are
Links: 94; Pitch: 3/8 in.; Rollers: Single; Timing Marks: 3; Right
Links: 94; Pitch: 3/8 in.; Rollers: Single; Timing Marks: 3; Left
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1440162&parttype=5724
CLOYES Part # 94173

The tensioners look correct.

Found this thread by looking for the tensioner part number- did you ever find out if the CLOYES 95219 tensioner from rockauto would work? Im thinking about ordering one for mine if it does.

Having taken both a 2.8 and 3.0 apart, I dont see why they wouldnt be interchangeable.

Thanks- I just ordered two of them from Rockauto so I'll follow up for sure once they come in. They look identical from the pictures and the part numbers even end in the same last few numbers.

Make sure to test the ratcheting function on the tensioner. From my experience a number of these are re-boxed units from OEM manufactures. I have seen a number without the adjuster lock. If the piston moves in and out freely without locking it is missing.

I used the timing and oil chains on my rebuild with no issues. It's been running for a year now.

Thanks for the info! They should be in next week so hopefully they will be the right kind. Knowing the chains are the same I may go ahead and order those too just so everything is new.

After ordering the chains and tensioners I have found that the tensioners are the exact same although the timing chains would not work (too big) and the oil pump chain looked like a bicycle chain so I didnt use it either.

I haven't ordered a lot of engine parts from RockAuto, but I usually plug in a 1983 Volvo 760 GLE. It never occurred to me that there would be so many parts crossing over from the 3.0L even fire version of our engine. Nice thinking! Thanks for sharing!
