Hello everyone,
My name is Ed Ghesquiere and after many years of customizing cars, I am finally opening up my dream shop to do what I truly enjoy doing. SEO Motorsports will be opening its doors in Melbourne FL this November and I will announce the grand opening in a couple of weeks. We will not be a DeLorean specific shop, but rather cater to whatever make or model the customer enjoys. From basic service to wild ideas like my former 2JZ DeLorean build, SEO will get the job done. The shop capabilities include EFI conversions, hand built custom exhausts, forced induction, steel/aluminum welding, engineering drawing design, CNC machining and so on. I have built a team of engineers and vendors that allows me to tackle any job effectively and efficiently. The shop rate is $85/hr and I am accepting work by appointment only at this time.
If you want to contact me directly to discuss work you would like done or to schedule an appointment, below is my information.

Considering the stuff you can do, $85/hr is an extremely good rate.

Well, I don't like to stick it to people. $85/hr is fair for my over head. That may increase as the years go on and the shop grows.

Awesome news! I guarantee if you come up with some sort of standardized small block V8/LS1 engine swap package, you'll have folks lining up to send you their DeLoreans! Best of luck on your new venture.

Indeed, and that is awesome of you. Should my stock PRV ever die, you'll likely see my car :)

I met Eddie back in 2005 when I first got my car, and got to see first hand the cool engine swap, efi, and turbo Delorean he put together, and I was impressed. He helped me understand Deloreans as a new owner at the time.
He has come a long way since then. Recently I had my car serviced by him for a clutch kit install and some frame restoration, and can say he does a thorough job, attention to detail is top notch, and will do everything to make sure you are completely satisfied!
I wish him the best in his venture, and it's really nice to have these resources close to home. I definitely will be getting an EFI conversion package from him in the future!

I'm still not done setting up the shop but it's getting closer. I still have to install the new compressor and run the air lines and a few other minor things before it's all done.

I can handle two non running long term projects, one on the lift and one in front of the lift. I can store 5-6 at night. It's perfect for the work load I'm planning on having. Keep it small and focus on the details and customer service.

So I have not updated this thread in a bit so I'll update everyone. I am very happy to say SEO Motorsports is official, licensed, insured and registered with every government organization who wants to waste the taxes I pay them. I passed my inspection with the city in less than five minutes with one comment from the lady, "This is the cleanest shop I have ever done an inspection on". I got all my air lines install for my new compressor today and tested out my new 90deg pneumatic drill on Sherry's broken water pump bolt; fixed it in 10 minutes. I'm going to pick up my blasting cabinet and parts washer this week so I can start doing real cleaning and detailing of parts. I will say I am very happy with the shop even though it's not as big as others. It has enough room for me to keep a few projects going and not feel cramped at all. It's easy to keep clean and has a nice office and restroom for customers to relax if they are waiting on their car. If things keep going as good as they are now I may try and lease the bay next to me to expand in the future.

You've done amazing making your dream a reality, Eddie. The obstacles you've overcome are simply amazing - especially in this day and age.
Glad to see and hear so many things are going your way. Get some pictures of your shop up for all of us to see - give us a good lil "virtual tour" !

Come on over anytime. Let me know if you need help getting the car up and running, My EFI upgrade gets rid of all those pesky issues.
What would be the cost of an EFI conversion of a stock DeLorean? Just curious how much more it would be over going DIY.

No clue what Eddie charges, but as someone who DIY'ed his EFI, keep in mind that the conversion can be a real pain in the ass.

Just wanted to post some updated pictures of the shop car. I finished tacking up the turbo manifold and it's out being welded by a guy who is a pro at welding this type of manifold up. I'm hoping to have it running this year for sure.
