Pictures of DeLorean Dunmurry Factory BRICK Sign?

Hello all! Big favor guys. I'm planning to build a replica of the brick sign (with silver letters attached) that was located I believe at the entrance of the factory - "DMC - Dunmurry Industrial Estate" (I recall). I have seen it a hundred times but now that I want to get photos together to replicate it, I can't seem to find any clear ones! Can anyone help point me to any? Or possible to send me pictures? Many thanks! I have crazy long driveway through the woods and thought it would be really spiffy to put this half way down the driveway. Nerd alert.

Cool - I have the book so will check it out! I'm trying to get one good color photo, a view from the side to get letter thickness, and one from front for letter shape and scaling. Also trying to figure out whether the "DMC" was illuminated? I found a "now" picture of the sign falling apart and looks like the DMC letters were thick and hollow which makes me wonder if they did light up. Might be fun to do anyway.

you'll need some Tyrone Brick - Silver White 8" bricks, which might be a little expensive to import :clown:

Regards the lettering on that sign, a friend told me that his friends father stole the lettering seen on that sign when the factory closed....how true that is I dont know, to me its not the type of story you would make up.

Or was it only the main gate that had the sign?

I have literally messaged my mate who told me this story to see if he can make contact with his old friend (I know they drifted apart ) to see if this story can be verified and I have asked for photos...lets keep the fingers crossed we can come up with something!

***update*** just found out the fella's father went down to get the sign as soon as it was announced the factory was closing, however someone else beat him to it.

Both entrances had DMC signs made from stainless steel. I was offered the DMC lettering some years ago but the seller wanted far too much money for them. Probably still have his name and telephone number somewhere...
There was someone within the DeLorean community that replicated the DMC lettering pretty cheaply...

Wow, that is a great angle! This is super. Thanks Rich! The big thing now is getting some accurate color photos of the brick. I think it is the same used on the factory. Perhaps someone might have some recent color accurate photos of it from an event? I'm going to try and get a hold of the correct Tyrone brick from Ireland for matching as best as possible here. I am sure it can be matched accurate enough where my OCD won't kick in ;)

Well, Mr OCD, will you match the original 1980 color or today's color after they have weathered for 30 years?

Tyrone Brick no longer seem to sell that particular color anyway, so it's probably a moot point.

Well, I guess I want to match the color circa 1980 if I can get a good photo. I'm not going to go too crazy over an true absolute match. The brick will be the easy part - the letters will require a bit more... I might have to settle for "close". Definitely going to have the DMC light up though. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. In the mean time, going to pour the foundation.

I can probably help out, based in NJ so not too far from you, and I have an original brick in my garage which you are welcome to borrow!
