Just when you think you have seen all of the engine mods done to our cars, I came across this from 2007, I presume.
The engine was bored out to over 3 litres and we added twin turbos. While this added ausom power the car was not quick enough off the start so we added a nitros system that has a button under the gas pedal so when you step on it the car feels like a big V-8 and when the turbos kick in the nitros shuts off.

anyone know anything about it, either then or now? I assume it was one of the "Canadian" spec cars 17xxx vin, but who knows.

Saab wheels ?
I am guessing these are aftermarket, tri-spoke wheels. I had a similar set on my early VW Corrado, which were also 4x100.
Luckily the original rims were still with the car, since the aftermarket tri-spoke wheels were too wide and rubbed at full turn.
Since the tires rubbed with the wide wheels, I sold that set almost two decades ago. I will see if I still have some photos
somewhere that may have the logo center caps on them (my set had black center caps with the wheel name in silver).
Note: I did not have my photos handy, but a quick search on the Internets located a couple photos of similar sets.
The brand was Prime Wheels. One photo shows the wheels on a Corrado and other photo shows what my set looked like.

Interesting engine mod... But a hell of an ugly front....:shameful:
Rich seems to have nailed the headlights coming from the VW sirocco..

Those 3 spoke wheels were popular when I was in high school. I believe the make was Antera

Headlights look like they're from a late model Pontiac 6000STE to me.
They did a nice job with the fog lamps.

I'm surprised that no-one knows this car. Canada's such a small country after all.

Now that you mention that, I think this car belongs to my brother's best friends sister's husband. His name is Mike. He goes by Mike from Canada to avoid confusion.

Mike from Canada?! He's a good buddy of my cousin! Has a pet beaver, pays for things with monopoly money. Good guy.

Yep thats him. Just got off the phone with him, turns out he traded his car in for a snowmobile this summer. Got tired of getting stuck in the snow.

I just keep my car in the garage and ride my moose to work in the winter.
I work part time as a mailman, so I have the company dogsled to use.
