I'd love to see someone strap these onto a DeLorean and go through the snow. Check out all the cars that are on the page, some really goofy ones. Anyone willing to do it? Apparently no real big modifications, you just bolt them onto the existing bolts and you are good to go.

That almost makes me wish I lived up north.

Actually No not really, not even close. Cold weather sucks.

PS: I just looked it up, almost 10k for the track system. That would more than triple the value most 4x4's around here.

I would think this would only work on driven wheels? The fronts wouldn't work... Would look pretty funny though :)

Sweet! A Niva! My friend has one, we did alot of work to it. Driving in the snow is great, I would love to try out these tracks sometime on any vehicle.

For the southerners, it was a brisk -29C this week (-20F) and its only going to get colder! But so long as we have snow, I am fine with the cold. Planning on doing some 4x4 winter camping in the next few weeks!

FOUR WHEEL DRIVE use only.
I don't think the weak front of the Delorean would keep up with those pressures.
Need I mention the even worse trailer arms and tabs?

Common practice for 2WDs is to put skis on the front, tracks on the back. Yes, it would be hard on the suspension.

Hmm... Looking to spend a few thousand on treads to drive a DeLorean in the snow. Hmm. What to do....
