A friend of my daughter is somehow connected to the rapper Big K.R.I.T and asked if I would be willing to let them use my car in a video. This all happened in the last couple of days and I just got off the phone with the manager. They are still figuring out just where to meet up for the MTV video shoot, but it is supposed to be tomorrow while he is in town for a concert.

We'll see what it turns into. Supposedly it should only be for a couple of hours.

As some of you know I'm trying hard to promote our new product, ICEarchive, so after I found out the he has nearly half a million Facebook followers and a comparable number on Twitter, my terms immediately went towards helping promote my brand rather than just a few hundred bucks. Exposure on a national level is very valuable. Even though his followers are probably not the best demographics for me, the publicity can only help. Who knows who all of his followers are?
I'll get pictures, maybe some swag and an autograph, so I should be able to continue the PR parade for a while I hope. I'll even try and sound excited if they give me tickets. :Headspin:

The manager looked at my website while on the phone with me and thought it was "dope", so maybe they'll actually give me some good promotion. Stay tuned.

DM Googles Big KRIT
DM reads wiki entry but doesn't recognize a single name
DM decides that he is the wrong demographic in so many ways
DM wishes Spittybug Good Luck

So, is anyone the least bit surprised that when I called the manager this morning to confirm place and time that it was obvious I rousted him from slumber at the crack of 10:30?

Is anyone further surprised that he didn't yet have confirmation but would get back to me shortly?

How about believing that it is now evening and I haven't heard boo?

Yea, me neither.

Speaks volumes about business ethics.

Well that's your fault for calling him just after he went to bed.

I would take it as a sign.
