Door Latch - Screw size and threads

Does anyone know the size of the three screws that hold on the door latches? I just tried 1/4-28... close but not right. I tried out the screw at the hardware store and it didn't match 1/4-20 either???

This car is about 99% metric. They are 6 mm. Don't start forcing English size fasteners - the next guy will hate you.

Got it 6mm 1.0. Worked good.
