Equipment above the storage cubby

So the electrical equipment on the rear passenger site (above the battery) is clearly relays, fuses, etc. What's all the stuff on the driver side for? I know the ECU is underneath, but what is all the stuff sitting in the tray? Is it involved in the ECU or is that all equipment for the power antenna? Seems like a great place for an amp or two, given that I never, ever listen to the radio.

Could you post a photo of your area behind the driver's seat?

I can tell you what "should" be there, but not sure if you've got some extras.

Lambda ECU hangs down into cuby in front. Ignition ECU is under the black metal plate. Idle ECU is on top of plate. You may have a relay if you have a rear power antenna.

There are 3 ECUs in there:

Lambda ECU (controls the K-Jet frequency valve) - the one you mentioned - gray metal box with cast aluminum end cap, slung vertically at bottom front of that compartment and mostly located at upper rear of the storage cubby behind driver. Doesn't take up much room in that upper electrical compartment.

Idle Speed ECU (controls the K-Jet idle speed regulator/motor) - black plastic box on top of metal mounting tray in middle of the driver side elec. compartment.

Ignition ECU.

No major power antenna stuff in there. Maybe a relay depending on what antenna you have. Plus the cable/wires passing thru.

But with PO's you never know what else you might have sitting in there....

That's pretty major stuff, actually. :)

I know I had to dig back in that very compartment when I was repairing my power antenna, so there's definitely some stuff in there.
