So the episode they shot at my parents house airs tonight. 8PM on discovery HD.
Santa's workshop I believe is the title they gave it.

I found it weird that they kept saying that they were in the desert. My parents live like 25 min from downtown San Diego.

Had some free time tonight while watching the BCS and caught the episode OnDemand.

Nice job, but must have been a little odd doing all that Santa stuff in September. In the DESERT :)

Did it get a lot of use over the holidays?

No the original plan was to have my parents pull up in the D but the Ice truck was still in the driveway blocking it. It was pretty hot while they were filming and I'm surprised the snow lasted 2 days. You could see on some of the shots the marine layer (fog)was rolling through.(for some reason fog is referred to as marine layer here in SD) Reminds me of a joke. What do you call a 300lb girl in Oceanside? A heavy Marine layer.
Yea couldn't get all of the kids out of it Christmas eve.
