I first started learning about Krokodil about 6 months ago and I thought it would stay put in Russia, but it seems that this nasty heroin substitute is starting to gain steam here in the U.S. If you haven't seen the youtube documentaries (I'm a doc. whore), then do a search to see what this stuff does to people's bodies. Describing it just isn't enough, you have to see it. I will not post direct links or pics here as it's just way to graphic and disturbing.
I am at a loss for words on how bad this stuff is, and even more so that people willingly do this to themselves. I never fully understood addiction. When I had my wisdom teeth cut out and my spleen removed I had some powerful stuff and I hated the way it made me feel...like I had no control over myself or even my thoughts. I would almost prefer the pain than to loose myself like that.
I have read this stuff has the most severe withdraw symptoms, and is pretty addictive itself...but the real clincher is it's 5x cheaper than heroine.
