The eBay auction ended without meeting seller's reserve. The craigslist posting followed the auction ending by about a day.

I think I know the resto/customizing shop that's offering the car. Visited them about 2 yrs ago during an open house.

I do not recall seeing this car at any local events here.

That automobile.fr is a completely different car. The ad is listed in German on a French website (not too odd) and the car is clearly on stock wheels, is an automatic and is listed as an '81.

The TT car only got big up to about $26k so it's no surprise it's listed at $37,500 on Craigslist now. I seriously doubt it'll fetch much more than $30k.

Sorry, mixed apples with bananas, I was looking a another car listed in USA as well as in Europe.

That car listed in Europe was also listed here: http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/4254927877.html but it was deleted few mnutes ago.

This car is indeed in San Jose, Calif. as of yesterday.

I could see it inside of the shop of the outfit that posted it for sale. They were closed at that time.

craigslist listing expired, also not re-listed on eBay or craigslist at the moment.
