Been really serous about getting my car up and running!
Last time I drove it I was having issues with it dying. I thought that I tied the problem back to the RPM relay and had purchased a new one... Everything was going good when my car broke down again and I haven't been able to get it running properly since. I could get it to start, but not idol really well unless I opened the throttle the whole way up. Me and my buddy has been trouble shooting the problem... I just found out that fuel pump is working (connected it up to the battery).

I am going to see about jumping the RPM to see if the fuel pump kicks on, but is there anything else that would prevent it from working besides the RPM relay?

You should hear the pump prime momentarily when the key is turned to the 2nd ignition position.

I believe to jump the RPM relay you jump brown to purple, but you might want to double check. If the pump starts running continuously like this your RPM relay is likely toast. If it still doesn't run, you might have a bad ground. Is your inertia switch a white dot unit? They can melt and cause grounding issues as well.

If the car DOES run though your pump is probably pumping just fine. I'm no expert, but it sounds like it could be a problem with the frequency valve. If it isn't operational, the engine won't idle for shit - at least mine wouldn't because it was running so lean without the FV. Flooring the gas hits the WOT switch and essentially bypasses FV function IIRC, so check that your FV is buzzing.

I'd recommend troubleshooting with your favourite DMC vendor.
Their online support is pretty great, or you can just call them up.

There is another possible culprit.
That's the CPR (also called WUR).
The fuel goes from the fuel distributor to thr CPR and back.
Inside the CPR is a small filter in the line with the 14 mm banjo nut.
It usually gets clogged with debri over the years.
That clogged filter also makes your car run like s#!t.

If you are able to check fuel pressure, do so.
It may also help you to narrow down the trouble sources in the fuel system.
There also can be mechanical issues in the fuel system (a.o. collapsing rubber pickup hose, clogged fuel screen, both inside the tank and a very dirty tank if it has never been cleaned or a dirty fuel filter, defective - deteriorated inside - accumulator).

BTW: to directly power the pump, the RPM relay socket's jumper positions are 87 (white/purple: to pump) and 30 (brown: 12V).

Good luck in solving your troubles.

Nothing is clogged, but the fuel pump is not running on its own... I connected a battery to it and it is running... I jumped the RMP relay... I think that the Inertia switch may be bad... I talk to the DMC and the suggested to reset the Inertia switch (which I had already done) then they told me how to by pass it all together... However I now need to recharge my batter again!

If your fuel pump works when power is applied directly, you should also check the wire plugs near the pump.
They are prone to corrosion.

Use a MM (multimeter: Ohm-, Volt, Amp meter) to check continuity in the wire between the plug and the pump, but also the wire between the Inertia switch and the socket to the pump.

Okay... Found the problem. After checking everything with the meter I found that I had a bad ground... Got that fixed and the fuel pump runs like a champ. Now it is onto getting my car running properly. My daughter (which is two) is going crazy wanting to ride in my cart

Thanks to everyone that gave me some input! I wished that there was more DeLorean owners in Utah that I could meet with and work on my car together.
I have something to show everyone!

couple of bad connections...ran the battery till it was about dead, but at the end of the day I got it running. I now need to call DMC on Monday and order a $1.10 clip that seems to be broken to hold down the Distributor cap down!
