Anyone know anything about VIN 5452 ?

I'm curious if anyone out there owns or knows anything about Vin 5452? I used to own that one and often wonder where it is now. I sold it around 2004-2005 to a gentleman who lived in the Central Coast CA area.

According to my latest info, it's owned by Brett Sutherland from Newcastle New South Wales Australia and was converted into a solar powered DeLorean ... Can someone confirm this please?

Oh my God......I didn't see that coming! It still has the bumper letters, radioactive emblem on the engine cover, grey shift boot and custom fabricated shift knob......all things that I did to it. That is definitely my old car, no question!! Wow, I'm shocked.....just plain ol' shocked!

When I had it, it wasn't lowered in the front, it didn't have the side stripes (but I did give them to the new owner), the taillights weren't faded, I didn't have the stainless steel squares on the license plate bezel and it didn't have the DeLorean badge on the trunk lid. It also didn't have those two-tone seats (they were the OEM Grey).

I have seen this car in the flesh in Sydney, Brett has done an amazing job with the conversion. It's very quick off the line, first DeLorean I have seen spin its wheels properly. I think there is a YouTube video of the launch posted, will see if I can find it.

PS - I saw this car in Sydney as well (probably at the same event) and concur that it is the first DeLorean I've ever seen leave tire marks on dry pavement just by flooring the accelerator (and no clutch drop!)
