Previously I posted that my headliner was wet due to screw holes, but I just found the underlying issue. http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?8870-Screwed-in-headliner

Today, in the melting snow, I noticed some cracks on the passenger side that may have been the long-term culprit:

I already sealed everything above this spot, so water is getting in somewhere else and transferring unseen to this location, then seeping through the cracks. I read another post, which I can't find, that this leak can be fixed by taking off the top windshield trim? And how should I best fix the full-through cracks?

What I also noticed is this sort of leak leads water down the A pillar and causes the vinyl to peel. The A pillar then guides water to the passenger floor board.

Typically they are only surface cracks and the water won't get all the way through. It can't hurt to smear some silicone on them but IMHO you need to keep looking. I would start with the bulletin on water leaks. The vinyl peeling off the "A" pillar cover is from the sun.
