Ok, on the left hand side of the block (opposite side from Oil pressure sender) there is a Hex Sensor with one wire on it... What is the replacement part #?

oil warning light. Very common to fail due to converter heat.

Easy to swap out while doing an oil change. Before refilling the engine with oil remove and replace sender and you should be all set. It should come with a new crush washer to prevent leaks at the seal. From what I'm told they rarely leak from the outer seal though...they usually develop a leak in the center near the electrical connector.

I had the exact same issue right before I put the car away for winter storage.

I've been meaning to ask about that part too, lol...
The wire on mine is broken, and I was like "but the oil pressure gauge works fine, wtf?"

As long as it is not dripping, just repair the wire... 1/4" Stake-on.... My new one will be here Monday...

In case this hasn't already been explained, the part in question is a switch that only controls the low oil pressure dummy light on the dash. The sender for the oil pressure gauge is on the passenger side of the engine next to the oil filter.

That wire gets all crispy and burnt up from the heat. Either get a piece of high temp wire or slide a fire-sleeve over it. The sender can be disassembled and resealed with silicone sealer. When you take the sender out of the motor you get a lot of oil so be ready for it with a pan.

I understood. I meant, when I saw the broken wire on my car, I thought "This can't be for the oil pressure gauge because that's on the other side. But it's def oil related..." I did not know (until now) there was a separate sensor just for the light. I had assumed there was a wiring path that controlled the light if the pressure got too low, not a separate sensor.
