Hi all,

I remember there was a thread that mentioned some of John Hervey's bolt on water pump pulley's where a tad off and needed a washer to correct the alignment with the belt. I bought mine awhile ago, still working on my car.

From the inside of the pulley till the outside I measured 1 and 15/16" Is that correct or do I need a washer to correct it?

Why don't you just install it on the car and see if the pulleys line up?

My Hervey pulley looks exactly like that and works fine without a spacer. And it has for many thousands of miles.

My car is still under work, everything is off my engine, and my car is outside. This NY cold weather is killing us can't do anything anytime soon.

I remember someone posted, some of Hervey's pulleys were good, and some came out slightly off, just needed a washer to correct it. They said it didn't really seem off, but when driving the car you noticed a wear on the belt.

I just want to confirm if I have the correct one, which is 1 15/16" or supposed to be 2" or less, not sure.

It's the Volvo pulleys that require a spacer to line it up.

Did you get the Renault pulley installed yet?

Thank you! I actually found the thread on this info, and it was started by me, silly me! I forgot all this, been way too busy lately.
