I am more than relieved to announce that 774 has been mated with its all new frame and components and looks amazing. I dropped the body last weekend and I had no problems during the process with the exception of the steering shaft which has now been corrected. The shocks and springs have settled since these were taken and still has some ways to lower more once there's more weight on and in it. This wasn't that bad of a task considering I did it solo!

As mentioned before, never use hollow cement blocks to support heavy weights. Solid blocks ok, wood blocks even better. Lets be safe out there......

Looks good! Do you have more pics of this project here on the forum? I'd like to see some of the disassembly, and how you did the liftoff.

Nice results! I once lifted and lowered the body of my Lotus Europa on and off solo. It was something I took a fair amount of time to do without damage or unnecessary risk to me or the car. I would think the DeLorean would be something I'd call in favors from friends to assist if it was ever necessary. Glad you got her back on there! -P

Hollow blocks are probably OK, however in this instance they are turned on their faces. That's the weakest orientation. If you are going to use blocks then they should be installed with the cells vertical as they would be installed in a wall.
Still - Nice work - It's looking good.

Well after a fresh paint job the new shaft is in and working great! Here are a few photos from the past two years. These are just the basics there are plenty more. As you can see 12 years over dirt plus all the mileage did there toll on this frame. With the find of a donor car a new frame was stripped, welded, coated, and prepped for the body. We hand fabricated new crumple tubes and replaced everything on the frame.This car was a total bucket and is now looking like a heavy metal machine :rock_on:
