Ok, I put the distributor assembly back on.

The engine is a TDC (Firing position for #1)

I attached photos.. is this the correct position for the rotor?

Yes, if it is truly at TDC firing on #1, that is pointed correctly.

I set TDC according to the engine rebuild manual F25 & F26 (Inset 8mm rod into the blanking plug hole) and I checked and adjusted the timing scale.

I hopefully will be installing the drive-train this weekend.
