Found this back with all the relays...I have no idea what it is or does. It's about 3"x5" or so. Thanks!

Digital power door lock module. Nowadays its in a white plastic box, the earlier ones were gold or silver metal depending on where it came from.

Thanks Dave! Was this an upgrade to the original system or does it have some additional features?

My relay box is a disaster. I'm shocked that this thing hasn't caught on fire yet. The wiring harness looks like McGuyver made it.

It's an upgrade and uses solid state parts in conjunction with small relay switches. It also has a built in diagnostic system using the 4 led lamps. I suspect that if you have this installed you may have the actuators for the door locks as well rather than the solenoids.

Yes, Paddy McGuyver! I'm worried that yours is stock and just as bad as everyone else's :)

I have the same in my car.
Ordered trough DMCH when it was still available like this, very good and nice product.
Too bad, they didn't kept the gold box instead of plastic.
