Installed Engine... now what?

Ok, we installed the drive train this weekend. Engine + Trans.

Now what?

What is a good build order?

I'm thinking..

Starter (yes, we were in a time crunch with friends help and rented lift.. should have done this out of the car)
Headers
Cooling
Vacuum
Electrical (Main harness)
Fuel
Rest of Exhaust

Any suggestions?

Typically you do the hardest and "deepest" things first like the exhaust, the mounts, drivetrain covers etc. I would do all of the stuff underneath and then move on top.

Here is the order I would suggest.


1. Starter
1. Headers
2. Cooling
3. Vacuum
3. Electrical (Main harness)
2. Fuel
1. Rest of Exhaust

Ok, thanks all. I guess my initial assumption going from bottom up was correct more or less.
