Front brake pads

I am looking to replace my front brake pads. Is there a after market pad or a stock pad that everyone is using? Thanks

Brake pad crossovers are on he crossover list posted by stevedmc and can be bought from Rock Auto for what I hear is a fraction of Houston pads.
Just another option.
Chris' link is a good one too. Many here feel parts from DMC are superior. They might be and it might be your preference to use stock pads, but crossovers work just as well and may be considerably less expensive.

Options are ALWAYS good, and this is good info. That said, it should be noted that the parts from Houston aren't "stock", but are an improved part with a ceramic formulation.

I stand corrected Chris. I guess I just meant they are Delorean brand, so to speak. Options and upgrades are good. I guess sometimes it comes down to a person's personal budget vs. their desire to keep things as "stock" and "pure" as possible.

FYI:

I just replaced my front brake pads on my 2005 Malibu. Got the best set of pads from Autozone at $50 for set (ceramic). Autozone sells a set of none ceramic pads for $18 for the Malibu but OEM pads were ceramic. I once put those cheap pads on my car and had to throw them out because they squealed every time you hit the brakes.

All brake pads are not created equal. You get what you pay for.

I needed the new pads because the brake hoses plugged and the inside pad wore out.

Brake pads have coefficient of friction ratings for 2 temps - 200F and 600F. FF is OEM for the DeLorean and it is important to stay with that rating if you are OEM on every thing else. EE, which is common, will require much more pedal pressure to stop the car - while GG may be very sensitive. You can probably find other variations like FE, etc. but I would not recommend you stray from FF. If you look closely at the DMCH pad pictures - they say FF.
