Had some spare parts & an urge to try some steampunk art & figured I'd share.

Rim Floor Lamp:
Made from Chuck Darling's curb rash front rim, black iron pipe, electrical flex conduit and topped of with an old telephone pole insulator. Under the right lug nut there is a push button switch that activates the 3 Edison style radio tube bulbs. Each one can also be turned on an off at the socket. Under the left lug nut is another push button switch that activates the 2' rope light "night light" in the base of the lamp. Tracing paper is under the logo (cut from plastic, not a real center cap) to soften the glow. Under the front lug nut is a bolt and washer that holds the electrical box under the rim. The lug hole where the iron pipe goes thru was threaded to hold pipe in place. I can post in progress pics if anyone is interested in making their own.

Clutch Plate Desk Lamp:
Title sums this one up. An old porcelain two plug bus housing was used for the base. Edison Globe style bulb used here.

Liking the clutch lamp! I also did that tube radio behind it...is it real or a repro?

That's real. Don't use it much cause there is no outlet nearby where it currently lives.

Here are links to the videos of the light switches if the prior embeded links never show up.

The light coming from under the wheel is a nice touch Shannon!
