Someone posted this on Craigslist today. I thought it was pretty funny even though I can't pin point the references.

Slight correction... The classified add preceded the movie. If I recall it showed up in a local paper in the state of Washington maybe 10 years ago. It in turn inspired the movie you are referring to. Great flick.

Slight correction... The classified add preceded the movie. If I recall it showed up in a local paper in the state of Washington maybe 10 years ago. It in turn inspired the movie you are referring to. Great flick.

There was also some research done into it and I think I remember reading that it was one of the newspaper's staff that put that ad in the paper. I guess someone was bored that day.
