We discovered yesterday that DMC CA stripped the hole that one of the louver bolts goes through. Now the louvers droop and the bracket gets slightly bent from the weight. We tried to fix it ourselves but the actual metal bracket that is behind the plastic body of the car is loose and thus cannot be easily fixed. Has anyone had this happen? Any fixes? I'm trying to avoid driving all the way up to DMC, back home, back up to pick the car up, back home again.....you get the idea.

It bolts into a rivnut that can be replaced. Assuming you have the tool and the 8 mm rivnut.

Thank you. How do I access the rivet?

What I meant to say is how would I remove the old one and better yet, how do I install the new one?
