Good Morning Everyone,

When steering, the car makes a clunking sound upfront. I can feel it in the car and most certainly hear it. It sounds/feels like it is coming from the footwell area perhaps. I know this is general but any idea what it could be? Could it be the steering column bushing? Any suggestions would be very welcome and appreciated.

Thanks much!!

Here are pics of mine that I recently replaced. The first two pics show the amount of play with the bad bushing, the third shows the bushing removed and column moveded aside. If you look in this area while moving the steering wheel up/down/side-to-side you should be able to see if you have a bad or missing bushing.
