Quick question I haven't seen mentioned in old posts.

After the nut securing the tie rod end to the knuckle is removed, should the tie rod come loose, or is the bolt screwed into the knuckle somehow?

Thanks!

A little bit of love is required to get the joint removed. That sucker is tapered. Tie rod pickle fork or my personal favorite a mini Thor sledge hammer. Just watch out for the dust shield either way!

Thanks Josh, I assumed that was the case, but I am making it a habit to ask first before giving anything a "technical tap"

Glad to see you're okay, those were scary photos...

Scary photos? Did I miss a blog header? What happened? :offtopic2:

I'll leave that to Josh to elaborate if he wishes. I grabbed a tie rod fork from the Zone and they popped right off after some whacks. I made the mistake of waiting to do them last so it made it a little more difficult.
