Hi guys,

I just noticed that my front panel http://store.delorean.com/p-9833-front-panel-w-clock-hole.aspx does not have the lower pins anymore, pics to understand what I'm talking about:

2776927770

I don't know if there are some fitment issues due the lack of these pins, should I reweld something similar (like a bolt) ?

They've cut 'em down to save some weight! :hysterical::slap:

Any way, I think you should be fine with the 2 screws in the middle... ;) you've got the top pins + the bottom screws and I say DON'T WORRY!

:D

Mine only has one of the front pins- the other three are missing.
I tried taking a length of steel rod cut down into a small pieces and epoxy-ing them where the studs originally were, but the epoxy didn't hold and it came right off.
No big deal though, it's held in place like that for years, and I just reinstalled it. No issues.

Although I'm sure welding a pin in place would hold it securely, I feared the heat would go through the metal to the finished side and damage the paint/texture, so I opted not to attempt it.

What is the part number for the bottom screws? I've lost them and I cannot find any reference on the exploded parts... http://store.delorean.com/c-316-8-7-0-dashboardconsole.aspx

I think it must be something like n° 56 ( http://store.delorean.com/p-7208-screw-n8.aspx )... I currently have them in my coin tray.

Nothing that rare I guess any way... ;)

Honestly that is not a great "6", looks like an "8" indeed. I've seen better sixes in my life!
