Front Fascia and Fender gap/alingment question

So I have a gap thats very slowly getting worse on both sides of the front fascia, between the fascia and the fenders.

I've looked into and understand how to remove the front fascia.
Do I have to remove the hood and all the screws keeping the fascia in place to re-allign the fascia? Or is there an easier/quicker way of doing this?

If you can get an adjustable ratcheting tool in there you can loosen the screws without having to remove the hood. I too am interested in some fine tuning and in what others have tried. Sorry I don't have more for you.

You could also weld or attach a phillips bit in a 1/4 wrench to get at those screws.
