Start with the basics. Generally, when you can shift with the car off, but not with the car running, the clutch isn't disengaging enough.

I just used a normal crimper? YMMV

I believe Redtek 12a is just propane (or a similar hydrocarbon). Since you need a license for r134a in Canada, Redtek 12a is just what all the parts stores sell (whereas in the US, you can just buy...
Just a standard DA sander with aggressive paper is what I used.
Thanks guys, got my answer (difficult when the car comes in boxes with nothing to compare to).
Thanks again.
Hi Rich, thanks for the reply. Maybe you linked the wrong thread, that one is just someone asking what the water valve does?
Thanks!
Hey guys, trying to sort out the routing of these 2 vacuum lines but could use some clarification.
Regarding the heater core valve, a member here posted a youtube video showing that the vacuum...
Yes, the sending units are m14x1.25, at least the one I bought from DeLoreanGo was.
Thanks. Actually I had run a similar test to see if I could use any of the tens of sensors I have kicking around here. I was holding the water at approximately 190 and trying different senders to see...
Thanks gents! Do we know if the DMC sending unit reads 'ok', or is it an identical unit (to DGo)?
Any difference between the two, or 6 of one...? DGo's says their sending unit is made by DeLorean Europe, DMC doesn't specify. Same with the coolant pipes (Although DMC says theirs is a mix of NOS...
As Ramblin said.... No. Also, I have a hunch your selection of adapter plates will be limited.
Sure, because that is the worst case scenario that happens if you lose a brake line.
If I recall, they are just Packard 56 connectors, or some variation of them. I used some 56 connectors as replacements with no issues.
I never had any luck with my other car (Which mind you is 14 years older). I even hounded the original dealership (in Kansas).
I've never had any luck with the cold sprays on 'really' stuck bolts. Maybe it works fine on stubborn bolts.
Generally you need the bolt red hot. Whether it be from oxy-fuel or induction, that...
Thanks!
How does it look? Any close photos of it?
Thanks
I sent an inquiry. I'll let you know if they respond back (I requested some dimensions).
So you were basing your trip on the response of strangers telling you if you could hack it without A/C or not? And you were going to take that advice?
How come you claim you were willing to listen...
Because he doesn't actually want advice or help with anything. He just wants to hear his own voice. Wasn't there a thread titled something like "Would you risk it?" or some such, about ridiculous...
Maybe you shouldn't be touching an oxy torch then.
You need oxy-acetylene to break seized fasteners free. A plumbers MAPP torch head will not get the metal glowing red hot. Don't start dicking around with haphazard ideas like the previous one.
I use one, but usually not on cars due to space restraints. Cars, I just use oxy with a small localized tip (if you're blowing yourself up, you're doing something wrong).
